CONGRESS OF THE UNITED STATES
HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES
WASHINGTON, D.C. 20515
Dear Friend,
Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Haiti
as they deal with the aftermath of the tragic earthquake. The scale of the loss of life, injury, and destruction is devastating and I am pleased the Administration has committed humanitarian aid and assistance in response to this international crisis. We stand ready to help our neighbors in Haiti
during this time of recovery.
The people of Haiti's need for help and compassion is great. Anyone wishing to provide assistance to those affected by the earthquake may find these sites helpful as they are partners on the ground helping to supply food, water, and medical supplies as recovery efforts enter the stabilization period.
The State Department has established a dedicated web page that offers advice for anyone wishing to provide assistance to those affected by the earthquake:
The Center for International Disaster Information (CIDI) provides information and guidance in support of appropriate international disaster relief:
It is critical that we help the people of Haiti in their time of need. I appreciate the efforts of all those who have kept the people of Haiti in their thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely Yours,

Patrick J. Kennedy
Member of Congress
